You have three sentences to tell your story. Go:
I grew up on the New Hampshire seacoast and went to college in Virginia. I couldn’t handle the snow-less winters, so moved back north to work in book publishing in New York. I fell in love with cider during a six-month stint in Ireland, and now I spend my days in Brooklyn reading, running, and recruiting new Downeast fans.
What’s your favorite non-cider activity in the cider house?
Quietly convincing Morty to move to New York.
If you are fired tomorrow, what will you be doing next week?
I will be moving to Vermont, skiing/hiking every day, and exporting maple syrup to Ireland.
What alcoholic beverage is most frightening to you?
Hypnotiq – that stuff has to be radioactive.
If you could bring one person onto the Downeast team who would it be and why?
I would hire Sacagawea because she would persevere through anything and she was an incredible negotiator, which I admire. Plus she could take us on really cool whitewater rafting trips.
